Band of Skulls are no ordinary band 9/10 - Classic Rock
Band Of Skulls, whose debut album Baby Darling Doll Face Honey was released in September of this year, have announced details of their biggest U.K. headline tour to date. The tour begins in Leeds on Thursday 4th February 2010. The band recently supported Spiritualized on their U.K. tour.

The band has also announced the release of a new single, I Know What I Am, on 8th February 2010 to coincide with the tour. The track had previously secured the coveted single of the week slot on iTunes and was subsequently downloaded by over 500,000 people.
The band has additionally secured a prized spot on the forthcoming New Moon sound-track. Based on the novels by Stephenie Meyer, New Moon is the sequel to last year's massive box office hit Twilight and will open in US theatres on November 20th. The 'New Moon' soundtrack will feature an unreleased and exclusive Band of Skulls' track Friends alongside contributions from, amongst others, Thom Yorke, Muse, The Killers and Bon Iver.
I Know What I Am also appears on the soundtrack to Drew Barrymore's forthcoming film 'Whip It'.
