Taking place Saturday 8th July at Old Spitalfields Market, ILM is once again supported by AIM – the Association of Independent Music.

ILM is also pleased to welcome XL, Young Turks, Bella Union, Local Action and Crepe Records to join  !K7, Because, Big Dada, Brainfeeder, Drag City, Earth, Erased Tapes, Fire, First Word, Fortuna Pop!, Hospital, Late Night Tales, Ninja Tune, Phantasy, Sonic Cathedral, Soundway and Strut.

Once again, ILM will be teaming up with London Brewers’ Market to bring beer and music aficionados some of the capital’s finest independent wares under one roof. There will be the opportunity to meet the brewers behind some of the country's favourite beers. Market-goers will be able to enjoy a refreshing pilsner or pale ale in the beer garden amongst the ILM and Brewer's stalls, where a specially curated line up of artist, label and friends of ILM DJ sets will take place throughout the day.

Summer ‘17 Market exclusives

!K7 will be making their DJ Tennis 'DJ-Kicks’ release available one week early - the official release date being 14th July. The Life And Death label founder puts forward a thoughtfully composed mix that’s subversive yet seductive in equal measure. It also comes in a new format: double CD and triple vinyl release featuring 4 exclusive tracks

4AD will be bringing their favourite “warehouse finds” and a selection of T-shirts that aren’t available in stores.

Blak Hand - exclusive Blak Hand Records Summer 2017 baseball tees, the new Katie Pham & The Moonbathers cassette (limited to 30), hand embroidered Blak Hand patches and some long-sold out limited edition cassettes.

- Compton & Batteau - 'In California' Reissue on LP/CD "‘A forgotten piece of baroque folk caught in time; 47 years after the fact it somehow sounds timeless. Like Cat Stevens with Nick Drake’s strings.” - Dave Henderson, MOJO Magazine

- 'Halt & Catch Fire Original Television Series Soundtrack' by Paul Haslinger. On deluxe 'Mutiny Edition' white vinyl. Nominated by Vox as the best TV show in 2016, AMC’s hit series ‘Halt And Catch Fire’ “is a potent look back at the earliest days of the internet that also glimpsed, through some hazy curtain, the world we live in right now.” Acclaimed for its exceptional soundtrack by former Tangerine Dream musician and award winning composer, Paul Haslinger has created a period-appropriate synth score that admirably sets the mood and tone of the bygone era.

- 'A Scanner Darkly Original soundtrack' by Graham Reynolds. On green and black marbled vinyl. Graham Reynolds works in extremes, creating soundscapes that are itchy and scratchy, full of mood swings and musical metaphors, an ever changing and unpredictable set of highs littered with reflective undertones and occasional soft, almost super numb realities.

-  Jane Weaver - 'Modern Kosmology' Limited Edition Vinyl

Final limited edition copies of the universally acclaimed album of cosmic rock and motorik psychedelia, *deluxe foil sleeve* PLUS a free can of 'Modern Kosmology' ale for every copy purchased!

Heavenly come armed with an array of good things: 10 copies of the ultra limited ‘Sugar Tastes Like Salt’ 7" by The Orielles. Limited to 100, they are screen printed, stamped and numbered (green artwork) “a seriously impressive blast of expansive, swooning psychedelic pop that jerks between lysergic garage-rock tendencies and frenzied disco beats driven by Can-esque percussion, scuzzy guitars and sublime vocals.”(Gigwise).

- 5 copies of H.Hawkline 'Last Thing On Your Mind' - Limited to 100 copies, screen-printed and hand numbered, it also features an unreleased b side "More Salt". Recorded in Los Angeles with Samur Khouja, the track features Cate Le Bon and Josiah Steinbrick. Artwork by H.Hawkline.

- 5 copies of King Gizzard and The Lizard Wizard - Glow In The Dark - 'Murder of The Universe' records. Now SOLD OUT on pre-order.

Kaya Kaya will be stocking a very limited number of vinyl of their latest release - an EP by multi-instrumental duo Tomaga whose blend of industrial, jazz, psychedelia and minimalism have earnt them a reputation as one of the UK’s most visceral live bands.  With an pressing of only 300 copies, they all but sold out in 6 days - with a remaining few kept back for ILM.

Phantasy Sound - The new James Walsh Thread/North’ 12” vinyl will be available exclusively at ILM two weeks ahead of official release on 21st July.

Next hot product from Phantasy is a re-press of Daniel Avery’s stand out album, Drone Logic which will fly out.

Sonic Cathedral are selling an exclusive 12” by The Early Years featuring remixes of songs from their last album by Andrew Weatherall, XAM and Andy Bell from Ride. There will also be Early Years Beer available - a specially brewed one-off by Black Sheep Brewery aka ‘The Early Beers'

Strut announce a number of exciting rarities including Ote Maloya - a brand new compilation of rare maloya music from La Reunion 1975-1986. The summer market follows a busy calendar of events that saw Independent Label Market launch a new night market, South of The River at Greenwich Market, a third Uniqlo Rooftop party in Oxford Street hosted by NTS Radio and a hugely successful Easter event with over 43,000 music and beer fans in attendance.

Since launching in London in May 2011, Independent Label Market has brought together the founders of some the World's greatest Independent Record Labels on both sides of the Atlantic to sell their fresh vinyl produce directly to the public at that traditional goods exchange – a market stall.
