Helsinki based trio K-X-P return to the fold after their well-received debut album and 'Easy" EP with their second full LP and UK Tour, and the first show at the Shacklewell Arms on Tuesday 1st May. The band draw on diverse influences from krautrock, psyche, punk and more, with a nod to such artists as Spacemen 3, Neu! and Suicide. Expect an intense live show with wig-out jams and progressive electronic sounds.
The Eyes In The Heat is the project of two London musicians Oliver Ho and Zizi Kanaan. Both bring their diverse backgrounds together to form powerful, sonorous soundscapes ready to thrill the dance floor. Having recently released an EP on Kill The DJ records, a full debut album is expected for release in May 2012. As a teaser for the album, "Amateur" EP sets the scene for rugged electronics alongside Zizi's seductive vocals.
Passarella Death Squad is a music project that spawned out of one of London's most respected cult clothing designers. The duo behind the name deliver dark drones and beautifully constructed electronica, and have garnered support from the likes of James Holden, Tiga and Optimo.
DJ support on the night comes in the form of Turbo and Bugged Out stalwart, Matt Walsh, and Battant spin-off, Latete_Atoto.
